We are sad to announce that on May 2, 2020, at the age of 85, Floyd James Easter (Phoenix, Arizona) passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. He was predeceased by: his mother Opal Alvernon Easter; his wife Charlotte Hiawathia Easter; his daughter Elaine Denise Easter; his siblings, Kennard "Kenny" Easter and Opal "Snoonie" Belland; and his father Floyd Easter.

He is survived by: his pet Katy; and his children, Deborah Easter, Kelly Hamilton Wilson, Daphne Easter, Scott Hamilton, Traci Easter, Erin Easter, Eric Easter and Shawn Easter. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Due to CDC recommendations to avoid the potential risk of exposure to the COVID 19 virus, Social Distancing guidelines and the number of persons will be managed by staff at St. Mary's Basilica church and St. Francis Cemetery.
