He was predeceased by: his parents, Victoria Burnette and Oscar Burnette. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Burnette; his son Brandon Burnette (Auvrie); and his siblings, David Burnette (LiLi), Sylvia Pullano (Sam) and Rita Mathis (Tim). He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Billet Hospice and the Mayo Clinic in Arizona, whose doctors, nurses, and staff provided George and his family with extraordinary care, compassion, and hope over many years.
