He is survived by: his wife Christene Sowby; his sister Carol Ann Baker (Bernard); and his children, Jennifer Flaherty (Damon), Amber Larson (Mons), Darin Franklin Sowby (Mandy), Dawn Sowby, Shannon Sowby and Nicole Tirrell (Ryan). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
