She was predeceased by: her husband Leon "Bill" Ray; and her brother Peter Braun. She is survived by: her niece Katja Braun; her great-niece Caroline Braun; and her nephews, Christoph Braun and Noah Braun (Jannis). She is also survived by her family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Paralyzed Veterans of America Arizona Chapter.
