He was predeceased by: his daughter Rosita Martinez. He is survived by: his wife Nimfa Martinez; his children, Jon Martinez of Boulder, CO, JoAnne Johnson (John) of Manassas, VA and Jane Kemp (Chris) of Greenville, SC; his stepchildren, Carlo Amog (Cindy), Theresa Maddatu (Richelle) and Rey Amog; his grandchildren, Sarah Davison (Andrew), Finn and Owen; and his stepgrandchildren, Grace, Abe, Gavin, Eirich, Juniper and Sadie.
The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Disabled American Veterans (http://www.dav.org) where a gift can be dedicated in Gil's name.
