He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles James and Olive Guernsey Wells; and his brothers, James, Harwood and Sterling Wells.
He is survived by: his significant other Patricia Carroll; the mother of his children Isabel "Molly" Gutierrez Wells; his children, Kelly Ann Wells-Guilland, Daniel Robert Wells, Steven Harvey Wells and Michael Anthony Wells; and his siblings, John Wells and Charlene White. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
