She was predeceased by: her son Terry Lee May (Jane); and her brothers, Raymond Guy Hawthorne and Harvey Earl Hawthorne. She is survived by: her daughter Valerie Kepler; and her grandchildren, Daniel Kepler, Chelsea Markins (Jeff) and Katie Woodfill (Matt). She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley in her name.
