He is survived by: his wife Lupita Van Gilse; his children, Paula Tims (Ken Tims), Marion Droge (Erik Droge) and Richard Van Gilse (Wendy Christensen); and his stepsons, Daniel and Eduardo. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
