He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Mary; and his brothers, Thomas and Bernard. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Thomas (Elizabeth), Michael, Kelly and Joseph; and his grandchildren, Megan, Michael and Matthew.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the American Legion Post 44, 7145 E. 2nd Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85251.
