Irene left this world on October 14, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Irene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Irene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecilia (Archie Bates) and Irene; and her husband Raymond E. Plouffe. She is survived by: her children, Raymond Plouffe, Susan Dega, Brandy Moody, Sharon Halbirt, Margie Traylor and Dennis Plouffe; and her pet Gizmo. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.

Instead of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Hospice of the Valley.
