He is survived by: his parents, Joyce Ann of Washington and Maurice Patterson (Angelica) of Phoenix Arizona; his sons, Kal-El and Malaki; his sisters, Shawnine Sr., Lakisha and Chanel; his siblings' children, Keira, Kimara, Malaysia, Nova, Shawnine Jr., Xandria, Xavier, Dream and Zavion; and his sister-in-law LaPortia. He is also survived by 1 great Aunt, 5 Aunts and 1 uncle, a host of cousins and extended family.
