“How was heartbroken to hear about what happened to Jimmy. When I lost contact with him, I did fear something terrible had happened. As evidence of the strange way, the universe works, I learned of Jim’s accident from Betsy while in line to give a blood test at Sonoraquest.. I think I’ve known Jimmy for the past 20 years having first met him in Superior Court when he was a bailiff and then having him be my plumber where he did a number of huge jobs at my house.”

“I also represented him a couple of times when he got sideways with neighbors. I was pleased we always came out on top. Another example of how the universe works, one day I discovered my main waterline to the house was leaking because my foot sunk into the front yard while I was mowing. I had just taken a shovel and started to dig when a white van pulled up. It was Jimmy, just swinging by to say hello. He saw what was happening and called someone to dig out my line and he proceeded to replace it.”

“It’s one thing to have a plumber on speed dial who always takes care of you. It’s a whole other thing when you have a plumber who senses that you might have a problem and shows up and then solves it for you. I always appreciated his hard work and his positive outlook. I counted him as a friend and I miss him.”

We grew up on the same street where my brothers Tom and Richard especially were long time friends of "Jimmy". Jim was always respectful and kind to our parents. His plumbing expertise was put to good use at our parents home then later at Tom's home in Sun City West. God bless and comfort you, Fred De Werth III and Richard De Werth.”
