He is survived by: his parents, Linnea Brudenell and Timothy O'Dowd (Anne Chapman); his sister Lila O'Dowd; and his grandparents, Peter, Mary O'Dowd, William and Ingrid Brudenell. He is also survived by his cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
A memorial has been established in James's name at the Arizona Humane Society to honor his memory and affection for animals. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in James's name to the Arizona Humane Society.
