He was predeceased by: his wife Esther B. Thomas (Sinclair); his parents, Charlie Thomas and Fern Thomas (Roll); and his sisters, Mary Lou Nusbaumer, Jane Ann Carnall and Peggy Nelson.

He is survived by: his son Mark Eugene Thomas of Keystone, IN. He is also survived by many Nieces & Nephews.
