He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario Franchini and Lena Franchini; and his brother Chief Justice Gene Franchini (Glynnie Franchini). He is survived by: the mother of his children Janet Franchini; his sons, Scott Franchini (Angela Franchini), David Franchini and Joey Franchini (Amanda Franchini); and his grandchildren, Jayden, Isabella, Milania, James, Reese and Jase. He is also survived by extended family, including numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
