With sadness, we share the passing of James W. St. Pierre of Phoenix, Arizona. James, born on April 15, 1940, passed away on October 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Auguste St. Pierre and Irene Freedline (Dargie); his stepfather Irving Freedline; and his siblings, Dolly, Barry, Frank and Auguste.
He is survived by: his wife Olga Escobar; his children, Joseph, James Robert, Eric James and LeeAnn; and his brothers, Barney Freedline and Forest St. Pierre. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home (4800 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa Catholic Church (5045 E Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018). A reception will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona (2929 E Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024).
