He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter George Schumacher and Kathryn L (Otting); his wife Dianne C. Schumacher; his brothers, Jack Schumacher and Joel Schumacher; his brother-in-law Don Wilson; and his granddaughter Courtney Schumacher.
He is survived by: his children, Leah Hupp (Christopher) of Minnesota, Christina Cason (Randy) of Gilbert Arizona and Aaron Schumacher (Candi) of Chandler, Arizona.; and his siblings, Judy Wilson, Jeanne Schumacher (Jim), Jan Schumacher (Deb) of Cedar Rapids, Jeff Schumacher (Kathy) of Cedar Rapids and Jerry Schumacher (Jane) of Cedar Rapids.
In Lieu of flowers and because of their wonderful care of Jim a memorial donation can be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 East Flower Street, Phoenix, Arizona, 85014.
