“Janet lived a few doors down from me on 12th Street. She brought me as her guest to my first High Holy Day service (I came from a very secular background). She held a play reading, hosted by the Jewish Community of Sedona and the Verde Valley. I mustered enough courage to enter the synagogue that day, and it has since become a major part of my life, with my adult bat mitzvah in 2009! Her friendship with Ed Asner, A"H, led to one he had with us. May her name be for many, many blessings.”
