With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Marie McGovern (Phoenix, Arizona), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 30, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband David R. McGovern; her parents, Richard L. Dugan and Agnes M. Dugan (Hanley); her siblings, William Dugan, Ellen Dugan, Mary Leydon and Carol Crowley; and her granddaughter Alexa Stone.
She is survived by: her children, David McGovern, Michelle Anderson (Mike), Paul McGovern (Lisa), Debra Stone (Dave), Denise Smith (Dave), Lori Wagner (Patrick) and Lynn McGovern (Bob Vaswani); and her grandchildren, Crystal, Michelle, Ronald, Kelly, David, Ian, Aaron, Ezra, Cody, Shannon, Seth and Kallina. She is also survived by her children, remaining grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
