John Anthony Bernard Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of John Anthony Bernard of Phoenix, Arizona. John Anthony, born on August 25, 1966, passed away on October 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Charles Bernard Sr.; Charla Howell. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Ashley Schlief, Brittany Burns, McKenzie Strope, George Bernard III, John Bernard Jr., James Bernard and Kaitlyn Bernard; his grandchildren, Ethan Padilla, Jacob Bernard, Brady Roth, Jayden, Hazel, Emilia Kubiak and Benjamin Bernard; and his siblings, Charles Bernard Jr. (Charlette), Elise Crowder, James "Bobby" Bernard and Heather Schulz. He is also survived by five nieces, five nephews, four grandnephews, and one grandniece.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Chapel (6830 W Thunderbird Rd, Peoria, AZ 85381).
