He is survived by: his sister Marilyn; his grandson Don; his daughters, Catherine M. Zobel (Rinde) and Janice I. Starbuck (Phil); his grandchildren, Tracie Lynn Smith, Donald E. Smith Jr., Keith A. Zobel (Nicolle), Natalie A. Fern (Travis), Jeffrey P. Zobel (Kristin), Patrick J. Smith, Tayler R. Smith, Nicholas S. Romero and Jessica Marnne; and his great grandchildren, Ian Arnold, Chloe Creekmore, Sienna Creekmore, Austin Zobel, Avery Zobel, Julia Matherly, Paige Matherly, Bennett Fern, Claire Fern and Parker Zobel.
