He is survived by: his siblings, Stephen (Shona) and Caroline; his children, Mark Higgins, Tiffany Eshom (Erik), Kara Malone and Scott Malone; and his grandchildren, Sinead, Mark, Audrey, McKenna, Ellia, Madelyn, Cayden and Jasmine. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
