She was predeceased by: her sister Kathy; and her parents, Barbara Smith and Russell Smith. She is survived by: her husband Dan; her children, Kevin, Karie Johnson (Adam) and Megan Gilbert (Gaelan); and her siblings, Darrell and Marilyn. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
