He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Dick" Stout and Vivian Doggett Stout. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Carden; his daughter Laura Steward (Allen) of Scottsdale, AZ; his sisters, Gail Howard (Dahl) of Kerrville and Pamala McIntosh of Sabinal; and his aunt Golda Burns of McGregor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
