Maloney Roper Obituary
Maloney Roper (Alcon), 50, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on February 25, 2026, at 4:36 p.m., surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on November 14, 1975, in Farmington, New Mexico, Maloney lived her life boldly and unapologetically. She was truly the life of the party — the loudest person in the room with the brightest glow. Her energy was contagious, her laugh unforgettable, and her heart was incredibly big and caring. If you knew Maloney, you knew you were loved.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her husband, Brian K. Roper, and her children, Brian T. Roper, Marissa Roper, and Ericca Alcon. Being a grandmother brought her immense pride and happiness. She adored her grandchildren — Brooklyn, Harmony, Jerimiah, and Layla — and treasured every moment spent making memories with them.
Maloney is also survived by her siblings: Cynthia, Dennis, Tina, Stephanie, Tony, Lloyd, Peggy, and Eric. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Corina Alcon and Sigfredo Alcon, as well as her brother, Paul, whom she now joins in heaven.
The bond she shared with her family and friends was unbreakable, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in the light and love she leaves behind. Her spirit, laughter, and warmth will live on in every story told, every memory shared, and every room that feels just a little quieter without her.
