She is survived by: her parents, Mary Lou and Jose; her husband Jose Suero; her brother Carlos Jr.; her nephew Carlos III; her great-niece Marissa; her great-nephew Antonio; and her stepdaughters, Brittany and Aubrey. She is also survived by friend she made through other friends, in elementary school or friends.
She will always be remembered for her enthusiasm and zest for life, her amazing laugh, her dedication to her family and friends, her contributions to K-12 education, and her strong faith in God.
