We announce the death of Mark Fitzgerald of Phoenix, Arizona, born in Long Beach, California, who passed away on October 20, 2026, at the age of 73. Mark will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his sister Kerry FitzGerald; and his nieces, Nadine Chiang, Denise Harned and Lauren Chiang. He is survived by: his wife Pascale Matte; his son Orin Bellizio; his siblings, Leslie Cunningham (Rodger Cunningham) and Scott FitzGerald (Veronica Chiang); his siblings-in-law, Isabelle Matte and Jean-Pierre Lafond; his nieces, Charlotte Lafond (Adrien Néret) and Florence Lafond (Olivier Côté); and his aunt Charlotte.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hansen Desert Hills Chapel (6500 E Bell Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85254).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Mark's memory to City of Hope (https://www.cityofhope.org), supporting cancer research and the advancement of treatments that bring hope to patients and their families.
