He is survived by: his son Shawn Christopher Akins; his wife Martha Martin; his grandson Christopher; his great great grandchildren, Audrina and Hakeem; and his sisters, Marche Clarke and Brenda Clarke. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
