He is survived by: his father Don Armstrong; his stepmother Kathy Armstrong; his brother Jim Armstrong; his sister-in-law Eileen Armstrong; his sibling's children, Matthew Armstrong, Kierstyn Schmid and Lauren Armstrong; his aunt Sandra Thomson; his uncle Dr. Brendan Thomson; his stepsiblings, Skip Paal, Ryan Paal and Elizabeth Paal Goss; and his cousins, Brendan, Ryan and Michael Thomson.
