It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle Richard Brooks Jr. (Phoenix, Arizona), who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ina Brooks (Adair) and Merle Brooks. He is survived by: his children, Austin (Amanda), Mason and Jordan; his grandsons, Michael and Hunter; and his siblings, Michelle, Michael and Jane.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Foundation of Retired Police Officers, (FORPO), in honor of Rick's lifelong dedication to serving others.
