She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Cahill and Rose Cahill (Dwyer); her husband Richard Peterson; her daughter Linda Peterson; her brother Jack Cahill; her sister-in-law Mary Cahill; and her sister Mary Jane Cahill.
She is survived by: her children, LuAnn Shinault (Eric), Cheryl Morley (Dave), Nancy Mingace, Mary Olson, Richard Peterson (Emilie), Pat Gallagher (Nina), Cindy Schirmang (Ken), Leslie Olsen (Rob), Mark Peterson and Matthew Peterson (Robin). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
