He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Fairmon (Nellie Pinckney) and Nathaniel Grant; his wife Audrey E. Grant; his children, Deborah and Vincent; his brothers, Earl and Clevon Fairmon; his grandson Lawrence; and his siblings, Arthur, Ollie Mae, James Jr. and Wilbert Sebron.
He is survived by: his children, Nathaniel Jr., Sharon and Derrick Grant; his grandchildren, Ryan, Katrice, Cameron, Geoffrey, Audra and Michael; and his siblings, Lottie Jean, Ulysses, Dayton and Jacqueline.
