She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Dotson and Allie Dotson; her husband Harvey Murdoch; her son Calvin Murdoch; and her grandson Jose Luis Hernandez.

She is survived by: her son Gary Murdoch (Candy); and her grandchildren, Jeff Murdoch, Christina Chicharello, Nicki Lanham (Buddy), Jason Murdoch (Aundra) and Casey Murdoch (Shaunacey).
