She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Waldo Sobotka and Gladys Sobotka (Hamilton); her husband Ray Morris; her sons, Jon (Gail Schmidt) and Steve; her sister Verna Tibbets; and her pet Vodka.

She is survived by: her sisters, Rose Hill and Vera Metzger; and her children, Connie Thompson of Sheridan, WY and Joe Morris (Jean Ann) of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews.
