It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olive Bernice Merckle of Phoenix, Arizona, born in Olive Hill, Kentucky, who passed away on September 13, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gee and Linnie Johnson Gee; her husband Richard Merckle; her siblings, Emmit E. Gee, Johnie Louie Gee, John Gee, Franklin Gee, Denver Gee, Russell Gee, Melissa Gee Aiken and Eula Gee Stevens; her son Glenn Carrick; her granddaughter Jennifer Marie Rodgers; and her brother-in-law Buell Stevens (Bucky).

She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda Evanitcka (Ken) of Denver Colorado, Karen Liberty (Ron) of Phoenix Arizona and Renee Albers of Peoria Arizona; her grandchildren, Christopher Fuller of Phoenix Arizona, Jeffrey Fuller, Chevi Gladu (Michael) of Missouri, Kyle Snell (Megan Pacheco) of Massachusetts, Jennifer Fuller, Jayden Fuller Sophia Fuller, Jax Fuller, Judy Gladu, Sophia Snell, Maddison Snell and Jordyn Snell; her siblings, George Gee (Carol) and Connie Gee Lefevbre (Phillip); and her sisters-in-law, Odderine Clark Gee of Lakeland Florida and Sharon Puckett Gee of Haldeman Kentucky. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
