He is survived by: his wife Ida Ortiz-McCoy; his sons, Oscar J. McCoy and Rudy J. McCoy; and his grandchildren, Thomas McCoy, Joel McCoy, Aidan McCoy, Ava McCoy, Alysia McCoy, Olivia McCoy, Teri McCoy Castillo, Tanya Villela, LaLinda Villela Vasquez, Eugene Ruiz, James Ruiz and Ariana Ruiz Garcia. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
His pride in his service and his contributions to others were evident in all he did.
