He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank (Eldene Pursell) and Portsmouth; and his son Bryon Pursell. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughters, Kelly and Pam Pursell; his stepchildren, Jeff, Tim, Cindy (Woodward), Andy and Michelle Johnson; and his grandchildren, Bret, Austin, Dustin Pursell, Shelbie, Hunter, Kelton Hovland, Cassie Phelps and Kyle Johnson. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
