He was predeceased by: his father Jack Everett Poteete; and his brother Jackie Dale Poteete. He is survived by: his daughters, Cyndi Hunter (Tyson Painter) and Brittnay Reyes (Ace Anaya); his mother Rosetta Dolly; his grandchildren, Ariel Hunter (Jake Rains), Eli Poteete, Aja Reyes and Gianna Reyes; his great grandchild Maverick Rains; his aunt Ruby; and his friends, Justin Sayrne and Richard Romero (Monica).
