He is survived by: his children, Penny Nunley, Johnnie Ray "John Henry" Lawson, Bonita Nipp, Lenora Lawson and Anthony Lawson (Shannon); and his sisters, Norma June Powers, Yvonne Rodriguez, Bobbie Slayline, Wanda Bain and Vickie Averbeck. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
