He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Long and Ruth Bartlo; and his brother Wally. He is survived by: his children, Mike, Kathy Long Young and Rick; his wife Jan Coffey Long; and his former wife Curla. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Phoenix Elks Lodge (14424 N 32nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85032).
