He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Cota and Rachel Cota. He is survived by: his daughters, Vanessa and Denee; his siblings, Henry, Johnny, Raymond, Angel, Armida, Esther and Rosemary; and his close friend Tucker. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
