He is survived by: his children, Wendy Tamis (Scott) of Lafayette, CA, Bonnie Jortberg (Rich) of Boulder, CO and Marc Tamis (Jodi) of Gray Lakes, IL; his stepchildren, Lisa Tear (Rich) of San Diego, CA, Brant Zell (Cherie) of August, GA and Kurt Zell of Phoenix, AZ; and his pet Lola. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
In honor of his amazing life, family members are encouraging donations to ICAN (Askican.org) NARAL (prochoiceamerica.org), or Planned Parenthood Action Fund.
