It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert W. Alpers (Phoenix, Arizona), born in Columbus, Nebraska, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Werner Alpers and Anna Alpers (Heiden); and his son Kurt (Cheri). He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Nancy (Laura), Kathryn (Brian) and Bill (Concetta); his grandchildren, Michael (Abbi), Patrick, Will (Pam), Brian (Pippa), Kristopher (Kelly) and Erica; his great grandchildren, Noah, Eddie, Elizabeth, Victoria, Freya, Myles and Luka; his sister Lois; and his daughter-in-law Cheri.
