He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Ralph Shepard and Bernice Haskins; his son Robert Wayne Shepard; his stepson Jeffrey S. Edwards; his wife Carol; his daughters, Rebecca Friary of Taunton and Cynthia Munnerlyn of Decatur, Texas.; and his stepsons, Gerald Edwards Jr. of Camp Verde and Jonathan L. Edwards of Peoria. He was also cherished by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
