He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Patterson and Eloise Patterson of Council Bluffs, IA.; his wife Elizabeth Patterson (Liz); his son Ronald L. Patterson; and his stepgrandson Chase Nunez.
He is survived by: his daughter Jeneen (Jason Nunez); his daughter-in-law Jennifer Patterson; and his grandsons, Ryan, Carter, Hayden, Will and Landon. He is also survived by five nieces and one nephew.
