She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Olson and Bessie Olson; and her siblings, Rosella Bessie and Roy Blaine Olson. She is survived by: her husband Walter H. Barton; her children, Richard "Bart" Barton (Jane) of Tempe, Roger Barton (Connie) of Tinley Park and Susan Harmon (William) of Holly Springs; her grandchildren, Joana Barton of Tinley Park, Sarah Harmon Staut (Tony) of Sanford and Mark Harmon of Chicago; and her great grandchildren, Mary Strickler of Chicago, Sophia and Michael Staut of Sanford. She is also survived by her husband and sons and her grandson-in-law.
She was planning trips right up until the pandemic hit; having had to cancel a trip to Italy in 2020.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arizona Railway Museum or Mountain View Lutheran Church.
