He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Duarte and Mary Jessie Duarte; and his sisters, Ruby Maldonado and Anita Groves. He is survived by: his wife Christine Duarte (Castaneda); his children, Anthony Castaneda (Candace), Erica Duarte, Desiree Angel (Levi) and Adrienne Benson (Matthew); and his siblings, Dr. Fred Duarte (April), Martha Guzman, Dolores Groves and Andrea Kipp (Matt). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces and many family members.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (844 Sullivan St, Miami, AZ 85539). A rosary will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at the Globe Cemetery (328 Hackney Ave, Globe, AZ 85501).
