He is survived by: his parents, John Alstad and Mary Jane Alstad; his wife Erin Alstad; his sister Tami; his brother-in-law Rob Simmons; his sister Kari Alstad; his nephews, John Kinyon (Lakota), Ron Kinyon (Lexi) and Derek Simmons (Ally Feland); and his niece Taylor Kelleher (Dave). He is also survived by six great nieces and nephews.
