It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Koester of Phoenix, Arizona, born in Ludington, Michigan, who passed away on July 17, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gene; and her son Gary. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Turnbull (Craig), Diane Koester and Linda Geyer (Paul); her daughter-in-law Ann Koester; and her grandchildren, Helen, Allison, Steven, Doug and Kyle. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.

Donations in memory of Shirley can be made to Crown of Life Lutheran Church in Sun City West, AZ.
