He is survived by: his wife Ann Whelan; his children, Russell Whelan and Lisa Andrews; his sister Nadean Glennie; his grandchildren, Daniel Whelan, Lacey Hyland, Brian Whelan, David Whelan, Skye Hersman, Glen Andrews, Chad Whelan, Hailee Medina and Addison Whelan; and his great grandchildren, Emsley Hyland, Chandler Whelan, Parker Andrews, Grant Hyland, Landon Whelan, Rory Andrews and Huntley Hersman.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ursday National Memorial Cemetery (23029 Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Christ's Church.
